Whats up with these new bear paw tattoos?

My ex's sister had pawprints too... hers were not in this place though. I don't know if there's a meaning to it or not, never asked.
 
It's like all tattoos... they're for attention.

After tribal tats and lower back tats quickly became the laughing stock, people figured they'd try putting them somewhere else "cool".
