Where do you live? I've lived in the "south" for over 40 years and the last one I can remember seeing was on our pet dog in the early 70s.

I mowed the backyard today, took all of 30 minutes and when I was done I rinsed my legs off with the hose and what do I find? A damn tick! He was a little booger but he was clinging on pretty good.
Me thinks they are going to be pretty heavy this summer.
