I've never seen more ticks in my life than this spring. Everytime I walk in the backyard I find one on me later. My cats (which have Frontline on them) still have them crawling on them when they go outside.

It's crazy.

Where do you live? I've lived in the "south" for over 40 years and the last one I can remember seeing was on our pet dog in the early 70s.

Get the stuff you sprinkle on your grass. We had a massive flea problem last year. I bombed the house, frontlined the dogs...couldn't get rid of them. I finally broke down and bought a bunch of the outdoor stuff and that did the trick.

Now its time to do it all again!

I mowed the backyard today, took all of 30 minutes and when I was done I rinsed my legs off with the hose and what do I find? A damn tick! He was a little booger but he was clinging on pretty good.

Me thinks they are going to be pretty heavy this summer.

NC. I hadn't seen a tick in years, but this year is just starting with a bang.

I see you're in NC also. me too. looks like it's gonna be a heavy tick season. Can't wait to see how the mosquitos are going to do. :)
