Whats up with the guy from Static-X?

some people like being different. for gods sake hes in a band 😛

btw i meat static-x and talked to them twice for a total of probably about 20 minutes, they are (or at least were then, a couple years ago) cool guys, especially wayne and ken (singer/drummer)

too bad they are a little too tv friendly for my tastes, i still enjoy their music alot.

edit: check out wussytruck.com, funny stuff 😀

Family Values ::snicker:: the tour of the century, riiiiiiiight

Anyways, I have seen Static X with Pitchshifter and Reville, AWESOME SHOW! Someone threw a shoe at Wayne and he actually stopped everything to comment that if he gets hit in the head again, he'll be pissed.

The lead singer from reville did a stage dive from the top stack of speakers.

Pitchshifter was awesome, as always.

I have to say, that was my favorite concert, ever.

I don't completely disagree with this one, at least not anymore. Americana had alot of popness too it, but Conspiracy of one had a lot of good songs on it that never made it to the radio (special delivery for instance). And they had a few kick ass CDs out before Smash, Ignition is still my favorite album by them.

As far as Static-X goes, find "Crash" by Memphisto Oddysey (featuring Static-X). That song whoops something up fierce.

*also notes* Static-X is so far the only band that I've found that goes perfect with Jet Moto 2

Wayne Static also does some guitar (and I believe some producing as well) on the new X-cecutioners single....also a rocking tune.

Static-X is still my absolute favorite band to work out to or get pumped up for a bike race.😀

I'm their "designated"cab driver when they come to Providence, and they are all pretty normal once you get over their looks. I drove for both them and Pantera when they came here a couple of years ago, and they called me like five times in two days. I gave them my number and they said they'd use me whenever they were in town.
