oh yea, I was looking for to see if I can change the threads per page from there. I think viewing 10-15 threads per page sucks.

with that, why don't they consider PostgreSQL, it is definitely more robust then mysql and it should be able to handle the load better.

no kidding... it doesn't take a 5 year old to realize that was the dumbest thing he could say coming from there.
 
I am surprised that a mod hasn't locked that thread. Any time someone posts an OT at hardocp it is locked in seconds. Being down for almost a week is inexcusible. I like how they blame it on MySQL. I have a feeling they were doing an upgrade and screwed everything up. 😀
