Funny, I created a poll asking this question about a week ago and all I got were stupid responses and parody threads to my question...

At least I didn't get a vacation for creating that thread! I think the mods have it in for you.

BTW-I thought your last parody thread was pretty good. Certainly not worthy of a vacation.

...but seriously...is this the new cool thing to do now? Just reply with nothing in it? Can someone explain it to me for real? I guess I didn't get the memo on that being cool or funny.

I'm sure this thread will be full of unorginal morons who will post nothing and thinks it's hilarious.....but i hope to get a good answer somewhere

I dunno why people do it, they just do. It's the beauty of the message boards, I suppose -- the ability to do something that irks someone without even exerting too much energy.

it annoys me a little, but who really cares? It would be great if AT got rid of post count entirely! my posting style wouldn't change at all, but without a "score" to be kept, quite a few people who post meaningless neffness to "postcount++" would stop posting entirely, it would be great!

thats true... but on the other hand, its kinda cool to see your post count and have different statuses etc...

No, the cube root of your post count should be the number of posts you can make in a day. That would take the life out of those people that make 500+ posts in their first week.
