Bad calls are how the games are fixed. The NBA is gradually turining into the WWF. It's all about the ratings now.

Trust me, this series won't go to seven or even six games. So all you people thinking that the refs or NBC are fixing these games for money, are in fact a bunch of whiners who can't take losing to a superior team. You don't like the foul calls? Well it goes both ways. Only laker fans don't whine about it (even in the games we lost).

Who Jersey?

GO LAKERS!

Bunch of jealous Laker haters!

Please people...the Nets are overmatched in every facet of the game. They don't stand a chance. I'm just happy for Byron Scott that he has gotten this far. Good job Byron!

Superior team? They are a two man show bone head, there is no team. It's the Shaq and Kobe hour when ever they hit the floor. And the only reason you little LA lovin turds don't cry is because they won. I bet you would be sniveling like a little baby if your poor little lakers got beat so zip your lip about we laker fans don't whine.

Uhhh... let's see... from what I've learned, two or more people make up a team. Anyway, is that saying that the Nets don't have a team? Just Kidd? Sacto didn't have a team? Just Webber and Bibby? And as far as I remember, posts like this didn't come up whenever the Lakers lost a game in the past series.

Stop your whining. Suck it up.

Sacto fans, put those cow bells back on your girlfriends where they belong.

Two man team? Hmmm, here's some stats from game 7 of the King series:

Rick Fox 13 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists
Derek Fisher 13 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists
Robert Horry 16 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists

Tonight Rick Fox chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, and Derek Fisher had 13 points. Robert had 5 points, 8 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals.

You can call the Lakers whatever you want, but to say they aren't a team is pure insanity. You don't win 2 titles in a row, and looking for number 3 and not be a team. Everyone on the team knows their roles, and does what they are good at. They don't have 5 guys who can go for 20 on a given night like Dallas or Sac, but they do have two of the best players in the game, and role players who know their roles. They aren't the most atheletic team on the face of the earth (something I think they need to address next season, along with getting someone to replace Fisher), but everyone does what they need to do to win. In today's NBA, getting guys to play their roles is much more important than having a team of superstars. The Nets aren't exactly loaded, but Byron has them playing their roles, which led to their success this season.

I should remind you that this two stars and some role players formula has won almost every title since 1991. The Bulls were Mike, Scottie, and role players. The Spurs were Tim Duncan, David Robison and role players, and the Lakers are Shaq, Kobe and role players.

"wah wah wha, whine whine whine, I hate the Lakers because they 0wn me"

like we're gonna care about your bitching and whinnig as we celebrate on figueroa. give it a rest.

will, that statement seems to indicate you know sh*t in general and that your opinions are full of sh*t.

Yeah...a real good comeback retard....... what are you 12???

It seems that, like in most professional sports, those with the biggest reps, teams or players, get away with the most. Watch any sport.........in baseball, the best pitchers get outside or high/low pitches called strikes that lesser pitchers get called balls. In football, the best quarterbacks get away with grounding while the rookies and lesser q'backs get the penalty called. It's the same with bball........the Lakers will always get the benefit of the doubt in their favor........they are the star team, so they get the nod with the fouls. Always has happened, always will.

I love how the whiny losers try to blame everything but team play when they lose. I guess we get to experience 4 games of whining by Nets fans.
