I just got a letter saying that MS has $1.1billion set aside to pay off some class action settlement for customers. I'm too busy to read all that legal stuff, so I'm just wondering if any of you already know what it's about and how I know if I can get any money from them :D

you don't have to provide proof when you send in the claim (assuming under $100), but if you actually want to get the voucher after the judgement comes through, then you WILL need proofs of purchase.

yes, I read it last night, i had nothing to read while on the can.

you don't get cash, you get a voucher that can be used to buy any software/hardware with some exceptions, PDA, server apps, etc.

if you kept proof of purchase, good for you and go for it.
