What's the worst thing that has ever happened to you?

Within a 3 month span I tore cartilege in my ankle and thumb, jammed 4 fingers, tore my mcl and meniscus in my left knee, and tore my acl mcl and meniscus in my right knee while straining my pcl. Gotta love the football season.

Hmmm........I fell off of a moving go kart when younger and skidded on the pavement.........yeah it knocked me out cold.

Around 7 years old I thought with a running start I could clear about 50 steps.

Blood + pain =

Crashed in a bike race doing about 35mph. Broke my wrist, took a chunk out of my right knee to the point you could see most of the lower half of the patellar tendon, and skinned the majority of the right side of my body. My wife almost passed out when the triage nurse unwrapped my knee to irrigate it.

Kids: don't try this at home.

Broke my wrist in a car accident.

But the worst thing that ever happened to me was when I was about ten or eleven years old. That?s when I discovered the true meaning of pain!

I was climbing a tree in my friend?s backyard when I lost my grip on the branch I held onto. I fell out of the tree but managed to twist my body right-side up. I fell straight down and ended up straddling a fence! DOH!

My friend?s mother called us in for lunch but I couldn?t move! I just sat on the fence for something like ten minutes. Now that?s fvcking pain!

spleenectomy - hockey incident ... fainted while driving... fainted as I walked into the ER... blood transfusion... 2 hour surgery... scar prominently remains... been 6+ years.

I had a ton of stitches(inside and out) in my thigh, on xmas eve when i was about 11 i was sledding on an Ice hill.., a screw that was sticking out of an sled I jumped on , stuck into my thigh, and then i went over a ramp, landed went down the hill.... I ended up with about a 4 " scar across the top of my thigh ...
hurt like a b#tch...

That reminds me of my second bloodiest encounter.

I was a late bloomer on the bike, learned how to ride around the same age of 7. First time I rode, I went FAST (for a 7 yr old) but had no control. So I turned and WHAMMO hit our Ford in the passenger side door head on. Of course the bike bounced back, my elbow skid across the ground. More blood!

Fun times

No wonder I prefer the color blue over red.

ramp broke while I was jumping it on my old BMX. did 1/2 flip as it went out from under me and landed on my neck, couldn't move for about five minutes.

also, kidney surgery (unrelated to the BMX incident 😉)

I have been broadsided by a car and came out better than I did after the crash I described. The guy's windshield soaked up most of the impact. 😛

I forgot to mention our car was parked, good thing otherwise it could have been worse.

The car that got me wasn't. I just got lucky and moved my leg up and out of the way of the bumper (panic reaction I guess).

5 stitches in the side of my head, just above where your sideburn starts.

When i was a kid i was riding a three wheeler on the side of the road, and my front wheel hit a large hole i didn't see because it was covered by long grass. No idea how many times i rolled or how far i flew.
