Actually, I believe it's because males under 26 are more likely to be involved in serious and fatal accidents, which result in higher payouts and higher costs fo insurance companies.

It's you women who are primarily guilty of the small accidents that are typically like those of hit and runs, as your insurance rates are at almost the level of males under 26.
