my computer blew up last night due to power surge as well, it was on a surge protector power bar, and nothing else was harmed on the power bar, and luckily it was just my PSU in my PC, but it went out with a good bang that's for sure.

It's hot, humid, and hasn't rained in forever. The grass is so dry that all you hear is crunching sounds while walking across the lawn.
