What's the verdict on Yamaha burners?

I'm thinking about getting the Yamaha 16x SCSI burner... does anyone here have one? What does everyone think about Yamaha burners in general?
 
The technology in the Yamaha burners doesn't burn data "links" between speed changes like the Plextor, TDK, etc... do. This is because Yamaha has continous burning with no transition zones. At 24x speeds the Yamaha method is now faster.
