I'm guessing you have a "T" in the lower right corner of the PCB...your chip likes the volts. Sounds really similar to my 3000+ 0517APAW which does 2550mhz@1.4v, 2700@1.55v and needs almost 1.675v@2800. I can boot and complete SP512k @2900mhz but that's about it. These volt lovers are good candidates for water or phase cooling, imho.
