To be honest, its not the best board out there, but for some funky reason its doing really well on the yorkies. No one has an idea why tho.
Yeah, I know. I wouldn't call it the absolutely best board for everything, just that it's really good at clocking Q9450/X3350 chips. I feel weird for being the lucky bastard who found out this combo, but then again, maybe that's just something that was meant to happen. Sooner or later, something like this would happen, and then we would all look back at motherboard manufacturers every once in a while and ask them: "What gives?"
It should be a more regular practice, since I've seen a lot of people who would just throw the chip away or return it after they couldn't get it to clock higher with their "supposed" good overclocking boards. Maybe we all have been fooled by the specs and promises.
This was just as surprising to me as how I found out I could run Photoshop CS3 on my Eee PC. At first I thought I had a golden chip.
