I live in Sultan, Washington.

Just about the same here. I guess the church bell tower would reach higher too.

Probably the Harbor Tower where my grandma lives (it's for older people or low-income)... not sure of the height but it's 18 stories.

I think there are a few 3 story buildings in Wauconda. In the industrial part of town, some of the buildings look like they may be 40 or 50 feet tall. Also, the water tower is pretty tall too, but It's not really a building.

Where I work. :p

30 Hudson St

Jersey City

I have a direct line of view of the Freedom Tower (in NYC) if its ever finished so that will probably be the tallest in our area eventually.

I'm across the street from this. My tower is better! BTW, you should do the run up the tower in October, should be fun.

Also from that page:

"This building can withstand a 8.3 richter scale earthquake. The major San Andreas Fault cannot produce a 8.0 or greater earthquake. "

What? How would anyone know that?

I actually live in the tallest, purely residential building in our city. It's only 40 total stories once you remove the missing floors (13, plus anything ending in 4) but it still is the tallest and probably will be for quite a while considering the type of building they are doing here now.
