Mine was a compaq pentium 200 mmx that I bought for almost 5 thou ..😱
it was state of the art at the time....

A CBT training systems course:

I bought the MCSE for NT4...it was excellent...

except the $1500 grand I paid for it went away when MCSE for win2k was released a week later.....

Don't get me wrong, CBT courses are great

Overpriced Nikes that didn't fit, but the only ones I could afford and I felt poor living in a condo so I bought them and never used them.

Religion.

man im glad i never bought that.

Yeah. Fortuanately I was able to exchange it for a healthy dose of skepticism and a refurbished batch of common sense.

its a toss up between the house i bought in saratoga springs NY back in 1992 (paid toooo much) and a portable computer case i bought around 1996 for about $1000

I made a really bad mistake on my first computer - a state of the art DX4-100

It cost $2000. I did one of those buy now pay in 12 month deals.

It really sickened me handing over $2000 12 months later when the computer was worth $200 and I could get so much more for that money.....never again!

I've bought a total of 3 computers that weren't worth my time and money. First was a laptop I rarely used. Second was a dual processor Pentium Pro system. Third was a dual processor celeron box. I could never get the PPro to work... SCSI drivers in NT4 sucked. The dual celeron box had a bad mobo. I sent it back to the guy and never received a refund or replacement. I took huge losses on all three machines. I've wasted a lot of money on computer hardware.
