At the back of the receipt is the old phone number of Marissa Miller; she wrote it down when I met her at the Yard House in Long Beach many, many years ago before she got all famous with Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret.

I felt its cool so I just kept the receipt the entire time.

Yea, its pretty cool. I was in LA, my sister from San Francisco drove down to meet me, we had lunch in Beverly Hills, went shopping on rodeo drive, then she was off to do other stuff.

That afternoon (same day) my friends and I went to the Yard House, everybody's inside and I went on the balcony to get fresh air, met Marissa, didn't have any paper on me except for the Guess Jeans receipt in my wallet from the shopping trip with my sister.

Of course it took more than that.

I'm not a smoker and everyone's inside drinking and smoking so I wanted to get fresh air. It was a cold autumn night so everyone's inside. I guess the bar didn't set up the outdoor heaters yet. We were both looking out to the sea and I mentioned something about the Queen Mary in the distance. Then the small talk started. The rest is history, ie she went on to her fame/fortune. obviously, we're not together and it was just too short of a time that its like a millisecond blip on the radar screen.
