Scar on upper lip: Shot an icicle down from our rain gutters with a BB gun as a younger child. Lucky I still have my eyes!

My mama always said, if your going to be stupid, you'd better be tough!
did you blame your broken glasses on the falling icicle instead of the BB?

I wasn't wearing any glasses. Stupid icicle came straight down and cut a hole completely through my upper lip. Wait...err...was I the stupid one in this story?

Big scar on my foot from stepping on a rail road spike. remember the story you read in grade school that had a boy that would run on the rail road track itself? Yeah, I practiced that for more than a year till I could do it easily. then missed a step at full tilt.

6 stitches on my wrist from a band that snapped on a bunk of lumber. don't use a claw hammer to do that.

4 stitches in my knee from falling between an in ground pool liner and the hole that was dug out to put the liner in.

Most of my leg from road rash from sliding down a sidewalk after clutch & brake failure on a minibike.

Screwed up ankle form being run over by a Klondike sled

one elbow hurts when fully extended from when I screwed it up falling off the top of a house while hanging Christmas lights.

Other arm hurts when rotated to the limit because I ran into a tree as a kid on my mountain bike on the way down a steep hill after the front wheel broke. I ended up intertwined between the bike frame and tree, and the bike needed to be cut off with a hacksaw by my dad before I went to the hospital. That was probably the most physical pain I have ever been in without breaking bones.

Face 1/2" below my left eye - Golf club to the face. Split open to the bone. That was cool.

Left index finger - Cut with knife on a busy night in the kitchen. 3 band-aids and a rubber glove the rest of the night.

Right index finger - Top of a can sliced through the side of a garbage bag in the same kitchen. Actually got stitches for this one.

Left Thigh - was carving a Pine Wood Derby car as a Scout. Slipped and the 1/4" blade went completely into my thigh. Didn't hurt (surprisingly), but boy was I gushing blood 😀

Huge oval burn mark on my right thigh just above and to the left of the knee.

My brother was finished cooking some bacon and splashed a lot of water into the pan to clean it. He left it on the fire for quite a while. A big, fat glob of bacon grease flew through the air and owned my leg. Instant sizzle.

We couldn't get it off fast enough because
1) I was 5 and he was 10
2) By the time I reacted to the pain, cried out, and he saw what happened, the skin was already cooking
3) It was burning bacon fat
4) Don't remember where my parents were, but it wasn't near the kitchen.

So eventually it stopped (didn't have any idea it could sizzle for that long, even with some effort to stop it). When we got the grease off, there was a big grey area. I still remember what it looked like because it looked fucking awesome. There was a ring of not as cooked, greyish-red flesh on the outside, and the center looked like diced steak.

Imagine what a blooming onion in those Outback Steakhouse commercials looks like. Now, make it flatter, grey, 1/4 an inch deep, and with veins running through. Surprisingly there was no bleeding involved, probably because the veins had been singed shut.

My parents had a good remedy, was really complex though. Had to prevent infection and try to heal the wound quickly. So I had to follow these steps every single morning:

1) Sprinkle salt on it
2) Go to school

I have more scars, but I really should study.

Skin below left eyebrow and above eyeball - 7 stitches, bit in the face by a dog
Left wrist - rusty barbed wire fence
Right hand - pencil mark from getting stabbed

What happened to the guy who fell onto hot roofing tar? Anyone else remember that? That story was the worst I ever heard, and still haunts me...

oh, also have lead in my arm from fourth grade when a girl stabbed my with a pencil. She went psycho that day and stabbed another kid too.

bike, was riding near the curb, thought i heard a car behind me, turned to look, road curved, headfirst into the metal latch on a mailbox.

another bike, racing a friend of mine to his house, we were even getting to the driveway in a hard turn, driveways around here are set about 2" above the road, faceplanted onto the driveway

1. Small crescent-shaped "dent" on the top of my skull where they put the first shunt in when I was a baby, now covered by hair

2. Larger scar above my right ear used for subsequent shunt placements, used to be hidden by hair but now I'm balding around it. 🙁

3. Small inverted Z-shaped series of scars on my right wrist where they used to insert IV needles when I was in the hospital as a kid

4. ~3 inch scar on my chest from a prior shunt insertion, this one is almost invisible now

5. Long scar on my abdomen from appendicitis and multiple shunt surgeries

I think that's about it. 🙂

My scars are from surgeries. I healed up pretty well from the burns and scrapes etc. I've sustained from accidents.
I have a 3" horizontal scar on my left side, just below the pelvis from a hydrocele removal.
I have a 6" mostly vertical scar that goes right around my belly button from a 3 ft. intestinal recission (yay Crohn's Disease!).

forehead (center) rock fight when i was 9.
forehead (eye brow) closed piercing
back of right hand game of man or mouse
ankle blade (inside left) caught in gears on a ten speed
not gonna bother with the rest

Been pretty lucky... only have two.

On my left cheek, I have a chicken pox scar
On my left knee, a scar when my brother and I were little, we were fighting and he dragged me across the carpet.

Don't you have two more? 😀

Let's see...

1 inch scar on my right wrist from climbing a fence when I was three. Actually got to the top and jumped down when my wrist got caught on the sharp end of a rusted bolt and ripped open my wrist. I can still remember seeing ligaments and tendons.

1/2 inch scar on my forehead from playing "Superman" with my sister. We would take turns jumping off the couch and pretending to fly. One time I jumped off only to land on the ottoman and busted my head open.

5 inch scar on my right calf from a muscle biopsy.

Numerous little scars from needles.

Vertical scar running the entire length of my back from the complete spinal fusion surgery I had when I was 14 to correct scoliosis.

weird shaped scar on my belly - I as playing on a backhoe that we had on the property when I was a kid, and I slipped off of the stabilizer and impaled myself on a 3 inch long piece of round steel sticking out of the frame.

Scar on the palm of my hand and on the backside of the hand - trying to cut a hole in the lid of some bleu cheese dressing with my leatherman, to lower it in the water to chum for catfish. I was carving the hole to insert the string, and the plastic slipped and I put the knife right through my hand.

long scar on the backside off right and left foot - right foot was a surgery to re-attach my achilles tendon after a rupture while I was on a PT run in the military. The matching scar on the left foot was for a debridment(sp?) surgery to prevent it from happening on that foot.

Scar on my forehead - from falling face first in the pavement when my achilles tendon ruptured and I passed out mid-stride.

I used to have a little one on my forehead from when I ran, tripped and hit corner of bedpost when I was little, other than that I don't have any I don't think.

EDIT: Nope i forgot I have one on my wenis as well
