I guess dryer lint. Pretty darn soft, though it probably wouldn't make a very fashionable coat.

The softest thing...

I have a set of sheets... They are 58% silk and 42% cotton. After I shave my legs, and crawl into bed... ahhh the softest thing I have ever felt!

:)

that's only the show ones, pet chinchillas like mine are cheaper.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... your chinchilla is adorable... :) Do you mind if I ask how much you paid?

$90 from the Ritterspatch Chinchilla Ranch just outsite of Findlay, OH. They have thousands there, and they ship them all over the world.

I was in the Fendi store on Rodeo Drive the other day, and couldn't stop petting this coat. It was INSANELY soft... like nothing I'd ever felt before. The fur kept feeling like it would melt in my hand, but it didn't... I checked the tag, and it was a chinchilla fur coat... on sale for $75,000. The matching small chinchilla fur coin purse was $1500.

Have you ever touched chinchilla fur?

I think it's probably the softest stuff I've EVER felt in my life... I can only imagine what it would be like to roll around naked it. Sooooooooooooooooo soft... :D

(as a side note, I'm against using animal fur for fashion... I don't own any fur myself, and doubt I would even if I could afford it)

One of my good friends from Cal had a chinchilla. Man you'd have kill like 5 generations worth of chinchillas to get that much fur.

While sane, probably my girlfriend's skin. She has three chinchilla's too, but I never touched them; I'll try it sometime.

My girlfriend only has one chinchilla!

they probably treated the fur to make it that soft...I've petted chinchillas before and their fur isn't particularly soft or anything.

As for the softest thing I've touched...hmmm...
