What's the smallest size a lithium poly cell that can be constructed?

Checking a 9V battery on your tongue does not pass the current through your heart.

You could stab a probe into a finger on each hand, and hook the probes to a fresh 9V battery to see...

Personally, I wouldn't want to see how good of a conductor my bloodstream might be...
 
I've heard the term "dragonball" but honestly have no idea what you're talking about!

In any case the topic here is building the smallest possible high voltage pile. The physiological effects of electrical shock are well known. It's not like we're trying to build a swallow-able taser (although the concept is rather interesting! 😉 )

Simpson 260s - now I do have lots experience with those. Never tried putting on Ω and licking the probes. Cannot imagine there being too much of a shock. Fatal shock with broken skin between hands? Does not sound possible with this meter. It's definitely not one to use with transistorized circuitry but killing a man? Come on! Now if it were a megger that would be a different thing. Those HURT like hell - with your clothes on!

There are these guys who also are willing to build a battery in any shape you need. I suppose one possibility would be to roll the battery around the electronics needed to step up the voltage ... could probably be done without a great deal of effort to produce a large but swallowable pill. Probably not one that could be surreptitiously hidden in someone's hors d'oeuvre. Well, maybe a spring roll that has some chewy stems; not appetizing, but I guess that's not the idea. What ship is that again? :\

In reality? not that good. This is why that is bunk. The distance between the thumbs is greater than what you perceive. Why? The bloodstream is a better conductor than flesh, but it's not all connected the way you think it is in the body. Blood flows through vessels, and must pass through a separated pump structure (the heart), that doesn't allow bypass (except in the case of heart conditions). Distances through any medium increases the resistance of that medium. Also, excited electrons like the take the path of least resistance but can lose their excited state when the the energy is changed into other forms, such as heat.

Licking a 9 volt battery doesn't even cause involuntary muscle spasms of the tongue, which is right next to the terminal posts of the battery using saliva as the lower resistance medium. Why would the heart, which is MUCH father away, through the bloodstream be affected by an involuntary muscle spasm that doesn't even effect the tongue?

My own conclusion, if the story is true, is the guy had a heart condition and it just happen to coincide with him doing this "test" of his own internal resistance.
