started with just a 5.25 disk only... then moved to a 20MB... and then I paid a whole load of money for a 400MB. A whole 400MB.. I still remember my people saying you are crazy... what are you doing?

around 200 megs... back when I had my 486 dx2 50mhz... even then it was such a small space.

20mb MFM drive. Had it on a 286 system. Had a 2400 baud modem that wouldn't hang up on it's own. Had to pull the phone cord when I was done dialing.
The most interesting drive I had though was a Maxtor 80mb drive. When it died it died wierdly. I couldn't get it to start until I put it into the freezer, then I got it to start so I could get my data off of it. Then I dropped it off my balcony on the third floor. Held up amazingly well for such a drop. Too bad it's internals weren't as well made as it's shell. :p
