What's the ratio of lefties to righties here?

The only people with powerful arguments are those who are neither left nor right, but are instead moderate pragmatists who can use their critical thinking ability to evaluate each issue on its own, in the right context, and then take the most logical and corrent stand.

You say you're new here, well you have a choice. Either take the easy way and be nothing but a closed minded shrill, posting trash and nodding your empty head at it, or strive to be one of the above mentioned - intelligent poeple whom you can't help but respect and appreciate regardless of whether you agree with them or not.
 
The righties keep quiet at the moment as they have nothing to defend their great leader with. The lefties hold all the cards at the moment, the righties do as they always do when things are looking bad, they choose a scapegoat and hope things blow over. This time, luckily for them, the scapegoat stepped forward itself in the form of gay marriage. So Bush will focus on that for the elections, and hope people forget about WMDs and their fathers/sons/brothers/friends dying in Iraq for Bush' little private war.

Personally, I've never admired nor respected fence sitters, ie "moderate prgmatists".

Depends.......if righties is the same as Bush loving trolls who think Fox gives a well balanced view of the world, and lefties are those who don't think so and therefore are against "us" and therefore must be evil communist/terrorist/fanatics.......... Then I think you're right.

........even if it seems you're going for 100:2 🙂

Going by the ratio of posts in this thred where "righties" are smacking "lefties" and "lefties" are smacking "righties" I would say the ratio is about 50\50.

I don't know about P&N, but the number of lefties in real life is enormous. The tax code and the statism that exists today is damning evidence of this. Collectivism is alive and very well in this country, in fact is kind of ridiculous not to think of it as socialism.
