Heh, I was gonna say mercury, until I remember mercury is Hg, not Ng. Damn elements, ruining my lame chemistry joke. 🙁

Nagamese would probably be more suited following those lines. 😉

Nagamese please?

Manganese is Mn. Magnesium is Mg.

Nagnesium is therefore funnier.

There's a lot of concensus on this ing thing, so I'll give up my ning proposal. That Ng teacher's class was 9 years and a lot of 's ago.

I used to smash a girl from Singapore whose last name was Ng. I would call her N-G all the time to tease her.

It's pronounced 'ung' with a very short u sound, almost silent. No, I am not joking. Just man up and ask whoever it is how they pronounce their damn name.

If you speak English, it is very hard to do. In English we do not pronouce words beginning with the 'ng' sound (like at the end of song). In Thai, nga ngu is a letter of the alphabet and begins many words. I kept saying "na nu" which is not correct. However, I have never seen a name with just that sound, so I'm not sure how you would pronounce it.
