What's the point of putting bras on the front end of cars if it makes it look like a$$???

female point of view: the reason i have a bra on my car is it definitely helps to make it easier to wash the bug splats off since they come off the vinyl like water.
AND also, there is something about a hot summer day and taking your car for a spin knowing you are wearing a black bra and so are your wheels. :)

i dont really like the vinyl bra's, but clear bra's are cool, because you cant even notice them unless you are standing right next to the car, and its just a thin line. makes it look a lot nicer than that hideous bra on the front.

My clear bra..

I didn't get bumper because it'll get nailed by another car or something.. but the front of the hood gets it the most..

Cost me 200 bucks for the hood, the two piece next to hood and the mirrors. That includes 2 car washes to get the surface cleaned

I was walking to my appartment and I saw this new 3 series BMW (there was no one inside). Then I looked at the passenger side and saw a girls panties and bra (the car belongs to a chick). Well I walked off smiling since it made the BMW look even more sexier. :p

That looks sweet. I'll have to get one when I finally get my hood replaced. Driving LA freeways ~400 miles a week doesn't do much for keeping your paint free of chips.

My car is a '95 and I have minimal paint chips and I just wash off the bug guts every couple of weeks. Looks much better than that bra crap...

I'm just ranting b/c I saw a silver S2000 today with a black bra on and nearly barfed.

Live in Colorado where gravel is the size of small boulders and you see the reason why you might need one ;)

There are many company that makes the clear bra thingy

http://www.xpel.com/
http://www.armourfend.com/

They have different thickness, it's all 3M stuff, so you can even buy a big sheet and do it yourself ! According to 3m, the longer u have it, the stronger it gets..

I saw a guy that did his whole front end, bumper, etc.. it looks pretty good.. but the only thing is if someone knocks your bumper off.. its kinda a waste..

I didn't do this for my old accord, bought new also, its got so many front hood chips, its rusting.. car cancer.. :(

That's not a car bra...it's clear protective tape. Can you take it on and off? No.

Granted I have seen tape used to lift, separate and hold in place in a strapless dress also.

WHy even bother?;)

Because some people like to have the paint on their car peel and fade instead of enduring with a few road chips and such.
Clear "bras" or paint protectors work just fine...

For simplicity, call it a bra since it does the same thing. Tape ? no, its a film, its much thicker, depend on which brand you get, its not scotch tape thin.

Yes, it is removable, its a 3M product and they have instruction on how to remove it, but once remove, like tape, you will need to buy another set.

Doesn't it cause other problems by becoming an accumulator of water and breeding ground for bacteria? Think of a soured shower curtain.
