What's the point of Cancer Hospitals?

Do we really need dedicated hospitals where if one is admitted to it, they have to see all these crappy cancer survivor stories by cancer survivor/cancer survivor style drawings? I mean like if I break a leg in front of them, i won't be able to get treated because I don't wanna deal with all those whiney cancer patients?
