Whats the point of a bed skirt?

A bed skirt is so people don't have to look at your nasty, 25 year old boxspring.

You know what, you should take pics of the bed skirt over the matress before you take it off... better yet, get that chick to come over and film her reaction and youtube it. :p

To keep your goddamn cat from slashing the shit out of your box-spring. ;) At least, that's why I used one, back when I had a box-spring.
