Mine's totally made up. I'm not Italian, but am tall, dark, and handsome..... I'm a Scottish/Irish/English American mutt.

Grew up in a very evangelical conservative part of the US, and my username was a sort of "I'm 14 and This is Deep" rebellion against the culture I was brought up in.

Many folks would describe god as a "higher power" so I'd retort 'God must be an atheist cause he doesn't believe in a higher power/god" and we were all stupid kids so it would get heads scratching, some laughs and some anger.

Got older and the following was tagged on "I guess god's got as much self esteem as I do" with some chortles all around.

Its funny to look back on, especially as my whole concept of god has gone from literal to extremely metaphysical/spiritual/metaphorical and its a sort of funny window into the past.

Thanks for asking this question, I really hadn't given it much thought in a long time...

I joined in 2001 to ask for help for my first PC build. I was scared shitless that all the hax0rz here will put viruses on my computer if I used anything resembling my name. So I picked whatever came to my mind - harami means bastard in Hindi. Note: Hindi isn't my native tongue. Nor am I a bastard. Figured it was a good way to throw people off from the real me 😵
