hrm...well, I've got my floppy drive which has been there for many moons and various configurations. And I've got a 60GXP that I know is just waiting to die on me. I just replaced my old GF2MX with a 9700Pro. My network card is still part of 3Com's current product line, but I've had it for almost two years (the one with the 3XP processor onboard). And my Pioneer DVD drive is up there in age.

Lol, my CPU, P2-350 MMX. My motherboard is newer cuz it crapped out and they fixed it on warranty. Luckily my new 2.4C is coming next week, along with an IC7-G and a 9700 Pro and the other parts I need. Finally, and upgrade!

Probably either my sound card (ISA based Yamaha chipset) or modem (33.6 Telepath flashed to v.90, from old Gateway, works really well!)

I have an ISA-based 3com NIC in my dual-CPU machine. It's just one of many NICs that machine uses at once ;) It also has a Linksys ISA NIC and an Intel 10/100 PCI and a 3com 10mbit PCI card.

My PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 300 :D
Had it since 98 and it's been in at least a dozen computers. Currently powering my XP1700 @ 2ghz, cdr/w, cdrom, and a 120 and a 40 gig hd :D

Do you remember those old power strips that you put under your monitor that had a lighted switch for each plug (Aux1, Aux2, Printer, Monitor, Computer) in the front of it???

Well, I've had mine since '94 I think. I'm still using it. Originally I had a 14" monitor sitting on top of it. It's had a 21" on it for about 5 years now.

The dang thing still works like a charm!

:D

I've got one of those. And the lights in the switches flash and blink like crazy after all these years. Noobs think it's the computer, lol.

But my oldest part in my system is a case fan that's about 10 years old.

I have a few old things on my confuser. Probably the floppy drive is the oldest as it had been through several machines prior to mine.
Then there's the Plextor 4220 SCSI CDRW and the original Logitech Trackman Marble FX - IMO, the best pointing device ever made. Don't know what I'll do when the FX goes TU. I've even trained myself to use it just about as well with either hand...

I have a 7 year old Seagate 1.2 GB hard drive. Still Active...I store drivers and downloads on it. I also have a 7 year old Micron 15" monitor. It's on about 16 hours every day.

Would say my Teac Floppy is the oldest thing in all my systems. They keep on working but I don't use them that much anymore. I do have a Creative SB128 in my Webserver as it's prefectally fine for the few sounds on that system and an old Creative AWE64 in my backup Fileserver. Other that that most of my stuff is more recent.

The floppy drive out of my old 486/25 SX. Circa 1993. Doesn't get daily use, but deserves mention for many years of dutiful service.

That would be my Nokia monitor, which is just 3 years now. Everything else is less than 6 months old...

I would have to say my Pioneer DVD-115 that came new with my HP 8760C (i think I bought it 3 or 4 years ago) but has to be replaced soon because it's having read errors with some CD-Rs. I will probably just get a Pioneer Slot-Load :D

Bill

Edit: Oh, I forgot about my HP Series II Laser Jet that I still use. That sucker makes the lights blink when I turn it on, and when it stays on. My mom leaves it on after she's done using it sometimes and wonders why the electric bill is so high ^^..

I would say probably my 10Base-T NIC, with dual ethernet and BNC connectors... Also, my floppy is probably many years old (but who cares, as long as it works). Lastly, my good ole' Sound Blaster Live!

Original Soundblaster Live! It has survived from a PIII 450 now all the way to my current settup with a XP2200+
