In my primary machine it would be the NIC. It is a 3Com and I payed about $40.00 for it a year or so ago.

60 gig hardrive....1 year old btw i payed 255$ us dollars for this fat boy.

Matrox Mystique 220 PCI card complete with Rainbow Runner... still use it to this day.

I'm still running on an FIC SD11 slot-A motherboard. I got it in a bundle with a 600 MHz Athlon from TCWO, but I can't remember how much they cost. I'm pretty sure it was over $200, though.

That little cable that connects the cdrom drive to the sound card. I've been using the same one for every computer in the past. I think it costs like 50cents. Other than that, everything else is new.
