So what's next in kitchens???

Watching all these "flip" programs & you always see the same thing.........

Granite
Stainless
Cherry

I heard a guy tonight say "Concrete countertops" and while concrete isn't necessarily new, perhaps concrete countertops are???

Anyway.........just thinkin' outloud & wonderin' what others think.

You could always seal them with the stuff they make to protect garage floors and driveways.

Well they make them, and I'm sure they considered that possibility...

You could glaze it, but it would still be ugly.

There's always marble, I suppose.

Ya, concrete's definitely doable. I agree, though, that a natural rock product (at least for now or until they come up w/ a better way to do concrete) is still numero uno.

It's just that things typically cycle, but perhaps in different forms.

(Well, maybe popcorn ceilings will stay gone.........LOL, but)

I think back about 10-15 years and wonder if I'd have guessed that Granite, S.S., Cherry would be the next big thing.......(I'm guessing not).........and/or what I thought *might* have been good.

I always liked the look of granite. The first concrete bathroom looks nice though, the second one is an ugly color.
