Old School.......

You are the love of my life
You are my inspi-ra-tion
Just you and me

That's all I know

I think it's chicago (by the horn section) but I don't recognize if it's Peter Sh!tera on the lead

If it's a Chicago song, pulse is right.

"You know our love was meant to be.
The kind of love that lasts forever.
And I want you here with me.
From tonight until the end of time.
You should know, everywhere I go.
You're always on my mind, in my heart, in my soul.
You're the meaning in my life, you're the inspiration.
You bring meaning to my life, you're the inspiration."

that help for lyrics man.

NO, it's not that song.

You're the inspiration came out in the mid 80's, and was a definite Peter Cetera fronted Chicago.

This song is from the 70s (90% sure), and i can't tell if it's Peter Cetera (heard it today on the radio--oldies station)

Lyrics:
You are the love of my life (horns---Daaaaaaa duuuuuuuuu)
You are the in-spir-ation
It's (or just, not sure) plain to see (horns ---tah tah, tah-tah)
Just you an me (horns ---tah tah, tah tah)

I'm so sure it's not Chicago--You're the inspiration from the 80's that I"ll paypal anyone who responds to this thread $20 if I'm wrong.
