I'm not necessarily proud of this, but last year a lot of us were working very hard, so when we went out... we went all out. I think the most I went through is about $2500, but that includes drinks, showing friends a good time, etc.

Strip clubs are fun if you're with friends and having a good time. It's not even really about the women. They just add another element to the experience, and it's more humorous than perversion.

Yeah, those places are lame, oh and if you do go to one in vegas drive yourself, walk, have the taxi drop you off a block away, or make the taxi give you the $20 (or whatever it is these days) they get for driving you there, you get charged more for cover if you take a taxi. The tip the clubs give to the cabbies was a compromise among all the owners to just pay a flat fee to stop one owner from bribing all the cabbies to take their fares to their club. A good scam the cabbies try to pull is find a group of guys walking towards a club and offer them $20 to drop them off, they get $20 per head, so it is a great deal for them, meanwhile the guys get charged 2x cover each. (prices are estimates, may vary by day of week, and I haven't been in a couple of years).

Oh and all you people who say you spent so much on drinks, you are doing it wrong, you spend the $ on the lap dances, not drinks, geez, go to a bar if you want to drink (it is much cheaper)! And if you are spending <$20, don't bother going, it makes the strippers unhappy when they make no money, and unhappy strippers are no fun. 😛
