Two things:

Once in a college speaking engagement, a banker told us "Only 5% of what you're taught, you will ever use". Kind of gave me justification for slacking off 95% of the time 😀

And in a college Statistics class, the prof showed us what games and how to wager in craps to give us the best chance of winning when we gamble. It was appropriate in timing, as my girlfriend and I were going on a cruise the following week.
