What's the most romantic thing you've ever done for a S.O.?

I "got" him a new TV for a wedding gift... but the most romantic thing i did was surprise him totally with a private dinner ON the beach for our first anniversary
complete with his favorite foods and wine.
I do a lot of little things though for him like buy him his favorite candy/beer, leave love notes, etc but that is just the usual stuff.

Figures the first serious response would be from a female. :) What's ATOT for if not to entertain me when I'm bored? :)

I bought a posterboard (like the ones I used to buy for science projects in elementary school) and made a collage of various pictures of us together through the years. In the middle I added a timeline outlining various activities we've done together. Then I wrapped it in a bow and gave it to her as a 2 yr. anniversary gift.

I booked one of those romance packages at a hotel in vegas. I had it set up so that they delivered the strawberries and champagne while we were taking a helicopter ride over the strip. When we got back to the room there happened to be a fireworks show at the hotel across the street, directly across from our room. We were in a a tower and our room was about level with the elevation of the fireworks. We turned the couch so it faced out the floor to ceiling window and watched our private fireworks show while drinking champagne and eating chocolate dipped strawberries.

I tried to convince her that I set up the fireworks too, but she didn't fall for it, that was just a great coincidence.

Hrmm...the most recent thing was I sent her to a day spa for a facial, pedicure, & waxing. While she was gone I fixed a dinner of tequila & lime shrimp and steamed sugar snap peas (her favorite veggie). For dessert I fixed made toasted poundcake w/ raspberries (Nice recipes). It was going according to plan until the knife slipped while I was trimming the stems on the flowers I was using for a centerpiece and bled all over the kitchen. :)

Small: Presented her with a rose that I bought on the way home from work, heading over to her place.

Big: Hotel suite in Niagara Falls for a weekend, winery tour, time in the casino, etc.

12 dozen roses is up there... but it involved breaking and entering to get into her place to set them all up in her bedroom so that brings it down a few notches.

Closed down a restaurant and made her a valentine's day meal :)
Then (half-serious) proposed with a blowpop

I'm really curious how you (half-serious) proposed. "Will you kinda sorta marry me but not really?" ;)
