LOL groberts is right...the owc drives are not immune. I know because I have had 3 bsods already this weekend...and one time when several tabs on google chrome were open I got a ioerror status. This system is not overclocked or anything at all so I'm sure this is the issue. I don't know of anything right now though to be done about it, I think most of us with these controllers or drives are stuck for the time being...
Of course sandforce webpage has a big disclaimer that says they are looking into the fact that alot of these cases may be cables, or drive controllers and not the fault of their drives
typical passing the buck. It is really sad to me that ssd has been out so many years and is still so buggy. The speed is awesome, but if you are rebooting all the time it's hardly productive. The fact that even the new intel drives have bugs and issues really says it all. For now I love the speed and will live with the bugs but for a mission critical or work system I would think long and hard before using a ssd.
