BS... only so much tire you can fit under a FWD setup. then asking the car to turn with any sort of throttle is just an exercise in futility. Car was definitely fun in a straight line, but once you turned the wheel, it was a waste of power. There are some cool FWD cars out there now, ie focus ST, but what's the point? Get a subie or lancer evo and be able to use the power

fastest ive owned: Supercharged IS300 330rwhp. this car is the reason i dont like vortechs on smaller engines. all the lag of a big turbo none of the punch. i still keep hunting for an IS300 to build differently one of these days

Full cage & all lexan...

Best pass... 10.32 @ 131mph (all motor no spray bracket car)

Shake rattle and roll besides being a lot O fun...

Most powerful? Depends upon how you define powerful.

For a car, probably the 1970 Hemi Cuda I got to drive for a few minutes after the owner cleaned my clock in my 1969 Olds 442 W-30 convert.

I've also piloted a 1971 Chevelle SS 396, a '70 Chevelle SS 454, a '69 Z28, a '69 AMC AMX w/390.....all quick and none stock.

Probably the same answer for both: 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, 400 HP. Not spectacular performance-wise, but it had some fun features. And I got paid to drive it.

Blown big block chev chevelle, not street legal drag only, Had about 900HP.

Fun to drive down the track but totally not street driveable.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen anyone turn down a lotus elise.

add another.. and I have driven them.
no thanks. even more of a girly car than my old G35 Coupe.
The only "Lotus" I would drive is the Venom which really isnt a Lotus anymore.
Lotus handle great but have zero HP.
might as well get the FRS for ALOT cheaper if you want a great handling car with anemic horsepower ratings.

myself 2013 Gt500 with tune. 700hp
fastest.. my old CBR1000RR with track work done. ( clocked at 195)

My new baby.. 2013 2SS Camaro Dusk Edition. 426hp
soon to have a Whipple and tune on it.

A lot of you know people with tuned cars... I don't know anyone with one (I also live in Seattle; it's pointless. Before I was in Portland; almost ditto. Before that: Poor man's land.). Most people I know don't have cars or have something like an old honda civic. The price I pay for knowing people that have pretty low incomes...

It's not about income, it's about priorities. If you have low income, you can still have a fast car...you just have to make sacrifices elsewhere in life, and your fast car will probably be an older car that you tuned. Unless you're a real car guy, it's probably not worth living in a trailer in the bad part of town just to drive something fast.

Fastest car I've driven is a Ferrari F430, at a track event. Big grin on my face.

My current ride....

Howling wheelspin at over 70 MPH without even trying hard. 2340 pound (currently) and 270 WHP and 315 lbs/ft Torque on pump gas. Gods I love turbos for a reason!

Passenger: 1G DSM
Driver: 2005 WRX STi

Feeling the power of a 10 second AWD car launch and push you back in your seat was one hell of an experience. Now if it wasn't a pain to keep them running.
