I had a check last year with 151 hours on it, which is 75.5 hour average per week. I have had a few weeks with > 80 hours, but thankfully not in over a year. My alltime high was in the low 90s, dont rememebr exactly, I will have to look it up. It was because the CEO was coming to the store, and just before he got there we were on a cleaning spree for the week. I worked a little over 30 hours straight (with three 1 hour power naps in my truck iirc) leading up to it.

When I was a salesman at Ritz Camera at 18, me and a fellow co-worker were basically assigned to staff by ourself a busy store for about 2 weeks because of severe staff problems within the regional area. This was a very high volume lab store; so over that period we'd open at 7AM but also have to keep printing film until 1:30 or 2AM the next day to finish all the customers prints. I got about 50 hours of OT the first week alone.

Now, I beg to get overtime here. We go down a staff member here for two weeks when someone goes on vacation, and we are expected to cover that person WITHOUT having OT. It sickens me.
