Disappointing? As in I thought it was gonig to be good, but it sucked?

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot ale. Strong beer that tastes like crap.

Bigfoot ale is a Barley wine. Takes a while to get used to it.... 🙂

Molson XXX. I was expecting something decent tasting, not sour ass tasting. Perfect example of sh!t beer.

I've had barley wine that puts the sierra nevada crap to shame.

ooh, i have to throw in red hook. had it once thought it was great? bought a sixer not too long ago and gave 5 of them away.

The last beer I tried, not sure what kind it was. I have yet to have a beer I can actually stand, and thats after trying everything from mass-market to local brews (red hook, pyramid). Beer is just nasty to me, maybe someday I will grow fond of it but after several years trying it and no luck so far...

Same here. For some reason, I thought it would be really good and it was just nasty.

I liked St. Pauli Girl the one time I tried it.

Any Austrailian beer (in the US). They are all bad, don't waste your time trying.

Oh yeah, Fosters also. I forgot about that. I thought since it was from Australia and came in a giant can, it must be good. WRONG.

A lot of it is in the aging. the bigfoot is put in stores the year that it is produced, and isn;t given time to age. It will take at LEAST a year to reach peak, likely double that.

Bought some Tuborg recently, mistook the name for Turbodog. Wow, what a disappointment, and it was a twelver DOH!

Corona.
Everybody said it was good stuff, but I hated it.

Agreed, tasted like water to me, although there is one Aussie beer that is the evilest stuff known to man...XXXX, nothing but camels piss in a can, Queenslander seem to love it though(they are pretty backward..kinda like Australia's version of canada😀)

Jackaas- you just dissed two of the best beers in the world-go back to your bud light

I'm a big barley wine fan. Let me know which ones you had that were good so I can add them to my list...

leave it to an american to trash stella artios, a consesus first rate beer among brewmaster s and and beer lovers. the rest of your list is also heretical. this entire list reads like a bunch of barabarian tasteless and uncouth uncultured americans with unsophiticated tastes trashing the best brews inthe world ( i love the women- too bitter! hahahah)

when i was young and cheap, i drank corona. after i turned around 18-19 i started drinking darker beers and took a 2 year hiatus from corona. when i went to a party and had a corona again, i couldnt finish it. ive had it a couple times since then and still find myself struggling to finish a bottle of corona. i will now refuse to drink it. if its all they have a party, im grateful ive got 2 legs so i can go to the store and get something else.
