Working at Charles Schwab, I once had deposit checks totaling $2.2 million. Typical was $800k-1.5M. Made my paycheck seem... insignificant.

INDEED, oh by the way when am I ever going to get my checks back, they total at some 2.2 million dollars. Can I have em back?

I'm a teller at a bank - I once had to take a shipment from the armored car service that brought our money - I think in total that was something along the lines of 400k in my hands at one particular moment.
Then of course it got locked into a vault to which I did not have the combinations. 🙁

When I worked for a movie theatre I watched over a little over $1million but of course it was too big to hold. There was a hurricane and the Brinks truck couldn't get past the flooded roads and they missed almost a week's worth of nightly pick-ups on opening weekend of LotR. Too bad it was all in the big safe so I didn't get to see any of it. 🙁

EDIT: Nvm I didn't read the cash part of the title. There were a good bit of checks so I'd have to say it was closer to 500k

I once held 47856 in cash when I worked at a movie theater and Terminator 2 opened. We had to take it to the bank to deposit at 12:45 at night and I was a LITTLE freaked. I recently had a cashiers check for 507560 ( or there abouts) for the purchase of my new house. it took Wells Fargo FOREVER to get that check drawn up.
