Then of course it got locked into a vault to which I did not have the combinations. :(

Back when I was working as a teller I once had to carry $60,000 in 20's from the main branch to our branch because the head teller under ordered for the week and we were out of cash. They gave it to me in one of those canvas bags that looked very similar to the cartoon money bags and I threw it in the trunk of my 74 VW Beetle. Talk about being nervous.

A company i worked for recieved a check for 1.5 million for a project we were funding from another company that i picked up from the mailbox and was told to open and hold on to....the funny thing was it came first class mail in one of those tear away stubs like you'd get from a rebate mailing, not insured, no signiture verification, no delivery confirmation, nothing, just a 32 cent stamp.

20k - two 100$ stacks, consecutive, straight from the bank. The stack actually looks disappointingly small.

I had a check made out to me for $56,000 after we sold our condo in 1999. I took it to my bank to deposit but it was only in there a few days since we used that money to put down 20% on our house.
