You're right. That wasn't a great picture.

lol I almost posted that same picture, but I figured the NSX was a niche thing for me.

I would have said 3rd gen Integra, but didn't want to say a car that I currently own.

Ferrari is tough, so much good design there imo.

If someone stuck an gun to my head and made me choose I'd probably go with this one:

This is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

Well, maybe some Alfa Romeo cars are in close competition.

Once I get going on these things I can't stop, but previous posters are right: There is no "most beautiful car". There are only cars you think are beautiful.

And for extreme mass-produced cars I nominate:

I'm sure many disagree, but imo it's the essence of clean, beautiful design. I still admire them when I see them driving around (which is more common than you'd think).

There are some stunning cars in this thread.

My nomination:

Lamborghini Miura SV

The Series III E-Type? With the horrible un-covered headlights and the ugly rubber bumpers? I've always thought the Series I cars were the best looking of the E-Types.

Completely agree, I also don't like the grill / badge on the images previously posted.

If I had an infinite amount of money, something like this would be mine:

Drop top, 55 MPG, and 55HP, the most beautiful car you could ever buy for less then $10k in the 90s, sure not the fastest but take the turbocharger from a Chevrolet sprint turbo and these cars tend to run like a bat out of hell(for an economy car anyway).

The picture has already been posted, but the Ferrari F40 is one of if not the single greatest car in history.

Honorable mentions...

Z32 300ZX.
63-67 Corvette. I have always loved these, especially with side pipes.

I always like the coupe version of Accords. But the Legend takes the cake.

Miura looks too tarted up with those over the top eyelashes.

Why pick just one?

At the risk of being too predictable:

Fifteen years later and I still have the same reaction as the first time I saw one.

we've been over this and the original e-type always wins.
