What's the most barbaric meal that you enjoy eating?

My dad just cooked up a Russian dish, the name of which translates to "Bloody Sausage." It's made from cow intestine that is filled with rice, soaked in blood and then baked. The sausage is then cut into .5"-thick pieces and served hot. I love it - smells great and tastes even better.

So what's the most barbaric dish that you enjoy eating?

P.S. If anyone wants the recipe, i can ask. It's not hard to cook.
 
being chinese, I enjoy eating dog! 😀 I can't shake that damn stereotype off me at school. Anyways, the most barbaric thing i eat is probably hot dog/steak type thing, i'm kinda simple when it comes to food.

oh, if u count rare food as barbaric. I enjoy a good plate of sashimi (not the crappy cheap kind u get at Todai, but the real expensive kind :/) and my entire family eats our steak very rare. Good part is when we go into a steak house it takes less time to cook our meat 🙂
 
Definatly my mom's beef roast. It is the best. It is a chunk of 25lbs of meat that she cook for me like twice a year (b/c it is a $50 cut of meat) and i spend the next week or so having at school for lunch and for dinner.
 
Ribs or Honey baked ham.

Something about seeing a bone and eating flesh off it.

Makes you think what am i eating but it tastes so good😀

i prefer duck myself

with a mint leaf and salt + pepper =P

 
sheep testicle....but i don't enjoy it..

i've also had,

sheep brain, heart, kidney, liver, tongue....


the tongue is the sickest cause it just looks disgusting. basically the skull was sitting on the table...and you picked out pieces.

am i barbaric? no.... i'm not the one who thinks capital punishment is ok!
 
Can't say I've had exceptionally barbaric meals but I gotta agree with Herbman, there really is something about ripping flesh from bone. Maybe it's our deep down caveman instincts. 😛

I always love a good bloody steak or ribs- heck, I my dinner was an ultimate meat lovers pizza. 🙂
