I isekii Lifer Mar 16, 2001 28,578 3 81 Jul 27, 2001 #4 I'm getting worried.. since I used to run it on WBK38 which was a blow dryer.. but now i'm running it with a Taisol.. and the temp seems to higher.. I dont want to burn out my chip.. How long does it usually take for a CPU to burn out.. if the Heatsink isn't mounted properly ??

E Elledan Banned Jul 24, 2000 8,880 0 0 Jul 27, 2001 #7 56 degrees isn't too bad. I'm running a Duron 600 @ 35°C. As long as you stay below the 80°C you should be ok. I think that the TBird can take about 90°C. Not sure though.
