I am running my 1.8A at only 2069Mhz right now at stock 1.55V. Using the stock HS/F unit I'm at 28 C (82 F) as we speak. Have our attic fan pulling cool air in from outside and ambient case temp is 22 C (71 F). Case is an Antec PLUS880, 2 80mm exhaust, 2 80mm intake.

that seems like a good idle temp. what is the temp under load. A buddy of mine has a 1.8A and idle he would get like 35 C i think. Stressed like 43 c

Yeah, this is a real nice temp... actual idle temp earlier today when it was pretty stifling hot in the room (as opposed to pretty cool now with the attic fan pulling cool air through) was 36 or 37 C... Load was high 40s. Need to put my Alpha 8942 on ;).

I've seen ppl with their cases at 26 c (that is with an alpha and a delta =D)

You can go as low as 18 c with watercooling

Liquid nitro = -168 c =D

Yeah, I know you can get really nice temps with watercooling and liquid nitro and other fun stuff, I was just curious about plain old air cooling, side of the case on, etc. :)

All these low temps make me jealous, my 1.8@1.8 was idle at 52C and now with my new case and fans around 46-47c. I must have just one hot runnin cpu =(.

18 C with water cooling?
hahaha
well, sure, if you have room temps of 10C or less.
just make it even simpler, 10C is 50F.

now, how many of you have 50F in your rooms?

well, didnt think so either, :D

the resevoir doesnt have to be in the room... people put them in refrigerators, or outside, or ive even heard of a guy that buried his 8 feet under the ground
