Well for AIM or any constantly connected online serive I can't get more than a week because RoadRunner resets the server every sunday night. As for computer my XP test machine was up for almost four months. It would have been up longer except the power suplly fan started to die and when I could no longer stand the noise I shut down and replaced it.

You just have it turned on right? You aren't actually using it. If so that might be a record of a SE box.

What about win98 NON SE???

Just over 4 weeks here. And when it happened, not much later it started to get buggy.

I know lots of linux boxes running over a year. Win boxes, I guess I would have to say that my NT box running for 6 months before a power outage screwed that up...

I used to reboot my Win2k workstation every two weeks. I used it heavily everyday, and it also functioned as the time sync server and a software audit server for a LAN of 80 clients. It was a Compaq Deskpro with a 1ghz p3.

187 days for a Win Me system. I am pretty sure that is a record :p It was actually one of my e-mail servers.

Found the old Kodak picture of one of our older servers here at the office. I can't actually see the screen (although several guys brag about it still.) It says:

"603 days, 16 hours, 5 seconds"
