What's the longest test.....?

What's the longest or most difficult academic test you've ever taken?

I just finished taking my Step 1 medical boards and had a brain fart. I can't even think properly!

2 days, 800 questions, 16 hours. I'll be happy if I just pass that thing (50%). Easily the most difficult test I've taken so far.

Plus it was painful! By the end of the first day sitting still for 8 hours looking down at the test was killing my middle back and neck!

I think I'll go play on the freeway now 🙂

The worst test I ever took was a 4 hour quantum mechanics final. By the time I finished that test, my brain was mush. Still is... 😉

AP Calculus test....

NOT SO HARD YOU SAY?!

Try taking it when you've ditched half the year!!! .... damn Senior-itis =P

Quantum Mechanics, yeah that could be tough. I like the material, but aren't always to happy doing the funky caculus. Yes, even as medical students we need calculus. Damn P-Chem!

For you kids who think APs are bad, it only gets worse!!! I took 6 APs senior year of highschool (yes I am the nerd posterboy) and pulled 106 hours straight awake. Um, I did take a 21 minute nap during the AP Physics test I think hehe.

Seriously, I was used to getting As in HS and UCLA. On this test I got excited when I knew all the words used in the question and recognized all the answer choices. Latin bites!!!

haha, kudos to ya goldenguppy for sucking it up at the end of the senior year. i ended up getting buncha 1s and 1 4 😛

Hehe, all I know is that I loved both AP lit and AP gov. tests, they were cake... and yes, I missed half the year in those classes too!!! You could say that I caught pneumonia at the perfect time *WINK WINK*

<< hmm.. academic decathalon.. I am in college, and I still haven't been that battered >>

Oh yeah, I remember that! Months of preparation for a full day's worth of testing under the guise of an "extracurricular activity"

Come on! There have to be some funky tests out their? Nobody out there a federal agent, chemical warfare specialist, military intelligence, or rocket scientist? 🙂

Coach P's Chapter 40 WW2 test. NOT EVEN A FINAL. 200 M/C. 4 Short answer (2-3 sentence) and 3 Essays (3-4 paragraphs). All in one class period. 45 min. Out of 150 students, I was one of 4 that finished.

I don't know if this really counts as a test or not - but my Dad's coworker was a navy seal and he talked about some of the things they went through.

He said once they had to stand knee-deep in cold swampy water and march through it for 3 days straight without sleep. He said anyone that fell was booted out.

Our HS AP Physics test takes a minimum of 8hrs to complete. My cousin started at 10AM and finished around 6PM.
