What's the longest relationship you've been in?

Current - little less than 3 months. It'll end after we get back from our respective Christmas Breaks though. None of my relationships have ever lasted past 2.5 months - I think I get freaked out or want to move onto the next "best" thing

Please post your age and what you answered in the poll.

I'm 24, and my longest relationship has been about 9 weeks.
That's it 😕

22 and near 4.5 years. I know I'm above average here for length, but 6 months.......😕

😉

Ditto for me. Actually it was almost exactly 3 months.
Part of the trouble was the Navy. Its difficult to have a long term thing when you deploy every so often.

The other part can be summed up here:

About half the links describe (in detail) why american women are so horrible.
I believe there used to be a site called americanwomensuck.com. Havent been to it in a while, but I agreed with most of the articles.

Before I turn 30 years of age, I intend to go back to Iceland and find a nice girl to call my own.

Since you're sharing, how about sharing a little more.
I have noticed a genuine trend in unhappy marriages that includes the trait of not living with each other for a while before the marriage.

I asked a guy (who talking mad smack about his wife) how well he knew her before hand.
He said "Oh I was with her for a long time. We dated for a whole year and lived together for like, 3 months".

This seemed like an incredibly short time to me but he was convinced he knew what he was doing. 1.5 months after the wedding day he was calling her a fvcking byatch. Not a byatch, a fvcking byatch.

If you had a young male friend who was considering matrimony, how long would you recommend he know her and live with her before proposing?
I was thinking date her for several years and live together at least one year.
