Dear god, how you people do that is beyond me :-x I would say probably 30 some hours is the longest. I'm up for like 18 or 19 on a typical day :-x Man, if you were up for 7 days, that would fuggin suck. It would get so damn boring.

I think it was about 62 hours. 0 sleep... no naps or drugs, save for nothing more than two cups of coffee for each of the three days. That was a while ago, no way I could do half that now.

I used to do @ 40 - 48 hours straight all the time. Was a bad sleeper back in the day.

wow, the level of bullsh*t in this thread is unbelievable.

i went 10 days without sleep, and did nothing for sustinence but drink a keg a beer per day (without even getting drunk). during that time i also wrote 8 dissertations while driving my corvette 170mph against the grain of traffic in a rain storm. blindfolded.

Probably not much more than 24 hours, if that. I make sure I get a decent amount of sleep.

Where's the bullshit factor? You can go a long, long time with no sleep. Just because you've never done it doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Not that I would reccomend you try. Its dangerous.

:D

~30 for me, I often stay up overnight if I have a long flight the next day. I don't like flying at all, so I sleep as much as possible that way.

I smell e-thug.

Yeah. I am a total e-thug. An E-thug that drives a Ford Taurus.

Did it ever occur to you that just maybe I did a lot of stupid crap when I was a teenager and now that I'm past it I don't mind talking about it? I don't talk about it for glory or to brag -- its nothing to brag about. Since when did wasting 5 years of your life being in and out of jail and institutions, hooked on all sorts of different drugs and throwing a whole lot of potential down the drain become something 'cool' or worthy of bragging about? Yeah, being diagnosed schizophrenic because you did too many chemical cocktails when you were a drug addict is SO FREAKING COOL AND TOUGH AND THUGGISH!

I talk about it because if it prevents one person from ever going through the sh!t i went through, then maybe I didn't go through it for nothing. Being awake for 9 days on amphetamines doesn't make you 'cool', it makes you a fvcking idiot.

But yeah, I'm just an e-thug.

i slept the first 4 hours out of 96 one looong weekend. I also went about 9 months sleeping just about 4 hours a night, give or take about 15 minutes. The bitch was that every other night the 4 hours was broken in two by about 2 hours. Really sucked.

No BS here.
I stayed awake for almost 7 days straight using a steady dose of prescription adderall and dropped acid 4 times IIRC.
It was during a high school summer between my junior and senior year. I didn't sleep one night because it was a crazy night, and I had to work the next day so I couldn't sleep... then I decided to see how long I could stay up to be funny.
Its pretty easy. I'd hang out with my friends from 5-6pm until around 7am to 9am getting crazy... then I'd work like a zombie on speed for a while, and play computer games when is got home.
When it got really hard to stay awake I dropped acid, just because I could never fall asleep on it no matter how tired I was...
On the 3rd day I started going a little crazy and didn't really get tired anymore.
By the time I wanted it to end, it was really hard to go to sleep. Not sure why.
After that I slept for 3 days off and on. and I was still kinda crazy for a month after that.

We used to pop caffeine pills and drink JOLT Cola until we had heart flutters. Gave it up after high school.

2 all-nighters at college... on the 3rd day, it was just going on momentum, really out of it. I spent the evening doing things with my friends. I felt really wired, like I wouldn't be able to sleep (probably from all the no-doze, and other caffeine sources). Around 10 or 11 that night, I started with mild hallucinations - I still remember the little light orbiting the flashlight, like a piece of lint in the air. I couldn't touch it or explain it, but kept trying to show it to my friends. It was the neatest thing I had ever seen, defied all logical explanations (at that time, except hallucinating, which I didn't realize was happening). I'll never do that again. To me, it's just not worth it to even pull one all-nighter.

You are really dumb. I was talking about Kev, and agreeing with your statement. You said nothing that denotes e-thug. Holy cow.
