I would say 12 hours but I did grab a soda, take a piss, pop in some bagel bites in the oven.

Little repetitive in the thread title, aren't we?

Anyways... I stopped playing games seriously a long time ago. I think the last major addiction I had was to Civilization 3, 4-5 hours at a time for like 2-3 days straight.

I edited it, but the edit didn't show up on the original title for some reason.

Probably around the 8 hour mark in UT99. I usually can't play for more than 3 hours tops anymore before I just get sick of it.

I am not sure exactly how long but at least five hours of game playing sessions were devoted to Sudden Strike, Age of Empires and Battlefield 1942 many, many times.

Edit: Back in its heyday I even emailed Rick Goodman who was the creator of AOE and jokingly lamented how I was half dead in the morning at work thanks to staying up so late playing that most additictive of games. He got a kick out of it and was really nice in his response.

32 hours, first time playing Civilization. Decided to go to sleep when all peripheral vision went totally black, even though it was a bright sunny day.

Civilization 1 did it for me, first time I played it 36 hours straight (with pee breaks and just enough time to get snacks & drinks, no meals).

I was unemployed at the time and didn't have anything better to do...

I'm a light weight and getting too old for marathon gaming. It's 1-2 hour max now. Used to be 10 hrs.

i'm going to say 4-5 hours straight. Duke Nukem, Half Life (TFC incl.), HL2, Call of Duty. Always shooters.

I've probably done some 15 hour sessions back in the day with Civ II. I still remember crawling into bed as the sun is coming up and my wife just shaking her head at me.

I remember some marathon Civ2 and Warcraft2 sessions, but my longest gaming session was 16 straight hours playing poker online.

I played the first Baldurs Gate for about 24 hours straight. Of course like 4 hours of that was just installing the damn thing! :)

Probably 6-7 hours without a break with computer games like Fallout, Fallout 2, Call of Duty multiplayer, Battlefield 1942 multiplayer, the first Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, Grand Theft Auto 3, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and Shogo.

I remember playing Battletech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception and GBA Championship Basketball: Two on Two for the Apple II series, but I think I only played at most 4-5 hours since my parents would limit how long I would spend on the computer. Same goes for Alien Mind, Silpheed, and Silent Service for the Apple IIGS.
