Yes, the country code for the U.S.A is 011 .... Spent a few years in the military, at least that's the way I allways had to dial it....

USA is 1

international access #'s vary from country to country. Its 011 for us.

we dial 011-(country code)-(recipient's # including area code)

That depends upon how dialing in Taiwan works, i.e. what the international dialing prefix is there and what the U.S. code is there.

Ugh for most that have not yet figured it out.
99% of the countries out there dial with 00 first. No that is not ATTs universal number but the universal number to dial outside the country.

The US country code is 1 so most likely the way to dial you would be 001 555-1234

dialing internationaly sucks. but the country code for the us is 1. now what you use to dial internal can vary. I think thailand was a bit different has well when I was, so check with your local phonre company for that info

ex of dialing us

xx-1-aaa-555-1465

xx - code for international line

1 - US and Canada country codes
aaa - area code
555-1465 your number

Wrong.

Bell was American, but spent his summers in Canada, where he came up with the idea. He then went back to the States and built it. :)
