A third brake light for my car.
Prior to that was a set of front turn signals for the car.
Prior to that was a thinkpad T43 fan for a coworker.

I never seem to find much on CL. Probably because the local area around here is smaller so I rarely check it.

Been awhile since I have used either, but last item I bought was a complete Sega Saturn with box and manuals as well, it all looks like it was brand new still. Was a great price iirc and figured I'd have a backup if my current Saturn dies.

Bought new, arrived used and missing parts. Currently in the middle of a paypal dispute. I'm about ready to sign off of ebay forever. It's all junk and scams it seems.

Same as me. Bought the laptop an hour before but someone had downgraded the factory DVD+RW to a ROM. The price on the lappy was good so I bought the correct drive. Probably a stupid purchase tho. I've got three laptops with burners already and I have never used them once. I've got a couple of bids in on some other laptops right now but I'm an ebay noob and haven't learned the art of sniping yet.

Ebay - Refurbed JBL Duet II speakers for one of my PCs for $25 including shipping from http://stores.ebay.com/Harman-Audio about a month ago. They were received in mint condition and looked brand new 2 days after bidding!!! I tried to bid a few times on the more expensive Duet III but the bidders kept hiking the price up past $50 or $60 on them in the last few seconds of bidding.

Craigslist - A used 30 gallon reptile tank and secure screened lid and a few reptile accessories for my 2 wild rat snakes for $30 about 2 1/2 years ago. Seller wanted $50 but got no other offers after a few days and finally took mine. One snake was caught in my house, under my main PC desk, in the corner under some loose wood trim by my cats, and the other on an emergency call a few blocks away under a bed.
